Electrical protection of railroad worksites is performed by FS SAFETY‘s expert teams of seasoned professionals, all of whom have been certified by the EPSF, the French agency for railway safety. The teams work to guarantee employee safety against a major hazard – electrocution by the catenary with a current of 1500 25,000 volts, depending on the lines. This is why traffic is stopped and power turned off in the catenary, allowing employees to work in conditions of total safety.
